Came here this past weekend, post remodel and the ambiance was great! It was pretty busy and despite having a reservation, it was running a bit slow. The hostess and manager continued to check on us and even gave us drinks while we had to wait which was super appreciated! For food, we ordered the short rib beignets. These were good, but I wouldn't consider it a beignet. It was more crispy and fried, rather than a fluffy puff pastry. We also ordered the salmon and beef stroganoff. The salmon was cooked perfectly! For dessert, we got the buttercake.

I went to the new salt creek grill for my grandpas birthday. The food and ambience was wonderful. We got the artichokes and texas toast. The beef stroganoff was delightful and the filet was okay. Brian gave wonderful service but I was a little disappointed because my grandpa didn't even get a happy birthday dessert with a candle. I thought for the price we paid and the time spent, we could have got a birthday celebration. I understand they are still working out some kinks but would have been nice to been able to have a better celebration. Our server was amazinggggg. That's the only reason we went. Hopefully next time will be a better experience.

From the moment me and my wife walked in we were immediately in love with the ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant. We were immediately greeted by a couple of friendly hostesses who kindly helped us get seated. Place was crowded and everybody was having a great time. Service was incredible and food was even better. Must try place! Me and my wife will be frequenting this restaurant much more! Owner is a very down to earth guy, he personally went around peoples tables and made sure everybody got what they needed. Great !!!

Been to Salt Creek many times over a more than 30 year period. Always loved. Local treasure and was sad it closed. My sis and I came opening night last Tuesday. Well done on the makeover! Food: I had the wedge. the lettuce, unfortunately, was old. Not a real wedge salad like I'm used to. Minor annoyance, I'll survive. Sat on the patio. Overall, a pleasant evening, EXCEPT...PLEASE turn down the music...especially the singer in the bar. Or consider a different type of singer; less twangy country, more jazz type, especially for a classy place like this. The sound level at times, especially in the bar itself, bordered on excruciating. Her type of voice made it even more so. Was surprised the bar patrons could stand it. We noticed when we left that the bar had cleared out; no wonder... Anyway, with that said, well done overall...We'll be back. We do realize it was opening night, with glitches. Totally understandable.

I'm from out of town and have been to the Salt Creek Grille about 3 times in the last year and a half. This time, it started off rough but got better as the night went along. First off, the host staff was great!! We couldn't get a reservation when we called in around 6pm (Friday evening), but were told it should free up around 9pm and they could probably accommodate us on a walk in basis around that time. They were spot on. When we checked in, the host staff was very friendly in a sincere way and got us a booth inside. Some things that can be improved. As soon as we were seated, we waited for about 10 minutes for anyone to check on us or bring us water. I wasn't happy about that. Our server, Giselle, was very polite. I didn't complain hoping our wait time to get some service was a fluke. We ordered some Texas Toast and split a Caesar salad. Our salad came but no one asked if we wanted some fresh pepper. Again, I was a little annoyed since we waited for another 5 minutes until I finally just asked someone who filled up our water if he could bring some pepper. The pepper definitely made the salad taste better. The Texas Toast was good. Giselle asked us some general background if we have been there before. I responded yes and she proceeded to tell me how the restaurant was opening up for the first time after a hiatus with new owners, similar menu but that they intended to make it a little more upscale in the future and change the menu around. After we made small talk, I felt I understood why things seemed off. This crew was getting back in the swing of things and their coordination was off (not checking in on new arrivals, setting food without asking if they wanted pepper, etc.). My mood after that lightened. Plus our server was very polite. I'm not a big wine guy but I felt like drinking wine and she helped me choose a great glass of red wine. I ordered something that I usually order, the Coffee Crusted New York Steak. Please keep this on the menu!! 10/10. I ordered it medium and it was perfectly cooked. Last time, the coffee rub was more pronounced and this time it was a little more subtle. I liked it better this time around. I liked how the blue cheese was on the side this time versus on top of the steak. I don't recall sides being a la carte but they are now. We ordered green beens and mashed potatoes. Green beans were great!! Mashed potatoes were good. At the conclusion we ordered butter cake with vanilla ice cream and strawberries. What a great finish and what a great rebound from the shaky start. I will come back, please don't change too much!!

Reopened and under way, I had an artichoke and a Cesar two drinks. It's all good. Bartenders are fine but Carlos is still missing.
